Nothing Like a Sale to Bring Out My Artsy Side
I had to go to Michael's today and they just happened to have a sale going on - 50% off select canvases! So I bought a couple and painted one right away. The Chicago skyline in acrylic paints:

I knew one of my kids would have a talent for art like this - afterall on your grandma Ritva's side of the family there are several artists, most of them dead now. Good thing you are carrying on the talent - you are very good! It seems to have skipped a generation... Grandma Ritva's father and two of her aunts were gifted artists and Grandma Ritva has some of their paintings in her home. I should have her take pictures of them and e-mail to us so you can see that you come from a long line of talented painters. Keep it going - who knows, you may have your own art show in the near future.
