The A-Team

Completely ridiculous.
Kind of hilarious.
Major crazy action.
Bradley Cooper.

Pure entertainment! Just what you expected, right?

I couldn't believe that Murdock was the same guy from District 9!
He's awesome.

Shrek: Forever After 3D

I don't have a whole lot to say about this one. It was cute. It was funny. The 3D was great. To say that I LOVE Puss In Boots would be an understatement. That darn cat gets me every time. Enjoyable little movie.

Is the title Shrek: Forever After or Shrek: The Final Chapter? I keep seeing it advertised different ways.

Help!

I've fallen off the blog-wagon!

I swore I wouldn't do that because this is sort of like my journal. I need to write things down to remember them. Seriously, my memory is that bad.

But honestly, things have been pretty mellow around here.

I got really sick with a sinus infection, but let's just skip that one. The highlights of the month were all crammed into the last couple weeks of May. I had plenty of visitors to play with. First, my cousin (that I spent so much of my teenage years with) came to visit with her family. We met up at Disneyland and had an awesome day. Then I joined them in San Diego at their beach house rental for a couple more days. It was bliss.

Next, one of my BFF's from high school came with her sister to stay with us for a few days. We went sight-seeing and shopped and watched movies and ate lots. We had a BBQ on Memorial Day so they could meet all of our friends. And in the mix of all that, another cousin came to visit with her husband. She had never had wedding or engagement pictures taken, so we all went to Santa Monica and took some photos on the beach.

So yeah, it was a busy couple of weeks and I loved it. Now my husband is done with the show he was working on, so he's taking a little time off to work on his own projects as we prepare for our trip to FINLAND!!! Did I mention we are going? Well, we are. And we couldn't be more excited.

Summer is off to a great start.

Allergy Season

Well it's THAT time of year again. Allergy season. Ugh. Same story as this time last year. I've been changing the sheets regularly, we just changed our carpet not too long ago, so the only thing I can think of is maybe it's time for a new mattress. But then again, I have the allergies no matter where I sleep. So I don't know. For now, more caffeine!

As for the rest of life, things are good. After the Vegas girls' trip, I had a hard time getting back into the swing of things with working out and eating right. I guess I didn't want vacation to end... But I'm getting there. Oh, and I got hired as an assistant photographer for a wedding last weekend! That was a great experience for me, as there is a LOT more that goes into it than I realized. The photographer I worked with was very insightful and taught me a few important things about wedding photography. I hope to work with her again before taking on my first wedding as the lead photographer in September!

Things are just plugging along!

Iron Man 2

This one was pretty much what I expected. I didn't like it as much as the first, but it was still pretty good for a sequel. I kind of wish it had more action! There were some cool scenes throughout, but a LOT of story line. Robert Downey, Jr. was great and I loved John Favreau too. He had some of the best lines! (I'd give myself the best lines if I was directing too.) And they set it up brilliantly for The Avengers. I'm not a comic book nerd, but I am excited for more of these movies.

Super unrealistic. (Stark builds a machine that creates a new ELEMENT in a short amount of time, yet his super computer can't trace a phone call in the same city in under 30 seconds...Kind of funny.) But you knew it was going to be, right?
